The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in November released version 2.2 of its Company portal manual. The initial version was released in September 2011. The portal serves as the primary interface between CFPB's Consumer Response and companies. Through this portal, companies can view and respond to complaints submitted by consumers and respond to requests for additional information from CFPB. CFPB also maintains a consumer portal so consumers can check the status of their complaints and otherwise communicate with CFPB.
