Fed Says Banks Will Have Volcker Rule Guidance

Federal Reserve Governor Daniel Tarullo in the Senate Banking hearing today said that it is a "possibility" that the regulators will not meet the July 21st deadline for the implementation of the Volcker Rule. If this is the case, he said he believes that the regulators should provide guidance so that banks will have some clear expectations.
