A New Way to Comment--CFPB's Regulation Room

The CFPB has posted a recent mortgage rule on Cornell University's Regulation Room. The room was set up to improve public participation in the rulemaking process:
The goal of Regulation Room is not just more public participation in rulemaking, but better participation. The site is designed to make it easier for this to happen. The problems agencies try to solve are usually difficult and complicated, so the best participation often comes from commenters who take the time to get below the surface and learn more about the proposed rule.
Although the room does not screen comments, moderators watch comments to ensure conversations move the topic forward:
...we are committed to maintaining an environment in which productive discussion about important issues can happen. We will take action towards any content that we believe undermines such an environment.
Visit the Regulation Room.
