OCC Issues New Comptroller’s Handbook Booklet

The OCC has issued a new Comptroller’s Handbook booklet—Unique and Hard-to-Value Assets—in its asset management series. The new booklet addresses, among other things, types of unique and hard-to-value assets and their characteristics; asset-review guidance, including pre-acceptance, post-acceptance and annual investment reviews; ways each category class is typically managed; and examples of unique assets’ fundamental management and reporting.
