The CFPB yesterday announced the appointments of individuals to serve on its new Community Bank Advisory Council. The council, which includes several ABA member bankers, will meet an estimated four times a year to provide information, analysis, and recommendations on the bureau’s regulation of consumer financial products and services. Its first meeting will be Oct. 10.
The CFPB yesterday also appointed a Consumer Advisory Council and a Credit Union Advisory Council.
