The Federal Reserve has announced the members of its 2013 Community Depository Institutions Advisory Council (CDIAC), including ABA member-bank executives who will serve as the panel’s president and vice president.
Charles Majors, executive chairman of American National Bank and Trust Co., Danville, Va., will serve as the CDIAC’s president, and Drake Mills, president and CEO of Community Trust Bank, Ruston, La., will be its vice president. Several other ABA members also will serve on the 2013 council.
The CDIAC advises the Federal Reserve on the economy, regulatory issues including Dodd-Frank implementation, lending conditions, and other issues. Members are selected from representatives of commercial banks, thrift institutions, and credit unions serving on local advisory councils at the 12 Federal Reserve Banks.
