Six House Financial Services Panel Members Lose Re-election Bids

Six House Financial Services Committee members lost re-election bids: Judy Biggert (R-Ill.), Nan Hayworth (R-N.Y.), Robert Dold (R-Ill.), Francisco Canseco (R-Texas), Frank Guinta (R-N.H.) and Joe Baca (D-Calif.).

In addition, panel member Joe Donnelly (D-Ind.) was elected to the Senate, while ranking member Barney Frank (D-Mass.), Ron Paul (R-Texas), Donald Manzullo (R-Ill.), Gary Ackerman (D-N.Y.) and Brad Miller (D-N.C.) did not seek re-election.

The new House so far has 234 Republicans and 193 Democrats. Eight races remain undecided.
