The CFPB has released the first CFPB Ombudsman’s annual report. The Ombudsman’s Office was established in December of last year to assist in resolving individual and systemic process issues that a consumer or provider of consumer financial products and services has with the CFPB.
This first report demonstrates how the CFPB has set up the office and describes who has reached out to the agency since its opening along with the Ombudsman’s recommendations to the CFPB, and the CFPB’s responses.
