Final Senate Vote on TAG Extension Slated for Today

The Senate today is scheduled to vote on a motion to shut off debate and move to a final vote on passage of a bill (S. 3637) that would extend the Transaction Account Guarantee program for two additional years.

However, there may be an attempt by opponents to block the extension. ABA expects a senator to offer a motion today that would prevent the bill from being considered because of budget concerns.
