Improvements Needed to Secure the CFPB’s Consumer Response System

The Federal Reserve’s Inspector General has released an executive summary of their report which evaluated the effectiveness of the information security controls the CFPB’s Consumer Response System (CRS). The executive summary notes that nine recommendations have been made for strengthening CRS information security controls.

Given the sensitivity of the information, security concerns bar publication of additional information.
