CFTC Approves Dodd-Frank Mandated Rules

The CFTC voted 4-1 today to finalize requirements under the Dodd-Frank Act for derivatives trading platforms called swap execution facilities. The final rule relaxed restrictions from the proposed version of the rule.

The CFTC staff have made Question & Answer sheets available with additional information on both of these rules.
