FDIC & CFPB Release Training for Senior Citizen Financial Education

The FDIC and CFPB released an instructor-led training module designed to help senior citizens and their caregivers protect themselves from financial exploitation and make informed financial decisions. “Money Smart for Older Adults” is the latest installment in the FDIC’s “Money Smart” program.

Topics covered by the new training include scams targeting the elderly, identity theft, planning for unexpected events and disaster preparedness.
