The CFPB will host a forum to discuss financial products marketed to college students. The discussion will be held on Monday, September 30 at 1 p.m. EDT in Washington, D.C..
Earlier this year, the CFPB published a notice asking about student checking accounts, debit cards, and other financial products. At the forum, the CFPB will present some of the responses received as well as listen to the industry, student advocates, and the higher education community about opportunities to help students and schools better navigate the financial marketplace.
This event is open to the public and requires an RSVP.
