Agencies Plan ‘Volcker Rule’ Vote for Dec. 10
The financial regulatory agency boards indicated that they will hold votes on the Volcker Rule -- a Dodd-Frank Act provision that limits banks’ ability to engage in proprietary trading -- on Dec. 10. The FDIC, Federal Reserve Board, CFTC and SEC are scheduled to meet and vote on the rule. The OCC is expected to issue the rule simultaneously.
