FDIC Extends Comment Period: SPOE Strategy

The FDIC has extended the comment period for the Single Point of Entry (SPOE) strategy for the resolution of systematically important financial institutions. The SPOE strategy imposes losses on a financial firm’s shareholders and unsecured debt holders but not on taxpayers.

All comments must now be received by March 20, 2014.
