ABA, Trades Urge House to Support Barr-Miller Bill

The ABA sent a joint trade association letter to members of Congress, urging them to support legislation introduced by Reps. Andy Barr and Gary Miller. The trade associations state:

The ongoing implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act has revealed unintended consequences that have adversely impacted job creation and economic growth. We believe that the Barr-Miller bill, comprised of a series of noncontroversial, thoroughly examined, bipartisan proposals will fix these unintended consequences and help make financial reform more workable and effective.
