SEC Commissioner Gallagher Will Leave Oct. 2

SEC Commissioner Daniel M. Gallagher will leave the agency on October 2, according to a public statement. Gallagher submitted his resignation to the President on May 1, effective on the appointment of his successor. As a successor has not yet been appointed, the Commissioner informed the President that his departure will no longer be contingent upon a successor being named.
