FDIC Rule Adjusts Civil Money Penalty Amounts for Inflation

The FDIC has issued an interim final rule adjusting the maximum amount of the civil money penalties within its jurisdiction to account for inflation, as required by the Federal Civil Penalties Inflation Adjustment Act Improvements Act of 2015. The rule takes effect Aug. 1.
