I just discovered the Tom Tom Spark + Cardio activity tracker, thanks to my sibling who loves fitness and gadgets. I've been a Garmin and Fitbit fan for years and it was interesting that I haven't thought of the Tom Tom as an alternative watch. I wanted a gadget that my son can use but isn't that pricey. For a first activity tracker for my teen, it's pretty affordable and the interface is easy to read. My son loved it and is spending more time outdoors just running and keeping fit. This is a great motivator, indeed. For more reviews on different activity trackers, see: http://backpackingmastery.com/top-picks/best-activity-tracker-watch.html
